Local games store Phoenix Games, over on Lake Street, is closing as of the end of August to become an online-only business. The owner tells me that with all the gentrification (and the associated construction) it's simply getting too expensive to operate in the neighborhood.
There's a sale on right now, so my readers in the Twin Cities area should probably drop by before it's too late. Don't forget that they have modeling supplies and rocket engines too.
I'm going to miss them.
