House update
I am worn out from cleaning, but the house is beautiful. Still needs some work, but definitely getting there. I spent most of yesterday cleaning the kitchen and the laundry room, but both are in good shape now. The kitchen is even usable! If only the AC was working. But that should be taken care of tomorrow.
The realtor stopped by this morning and was shocked to learn that the owner had decided to rent it out. She tried to give us a hard time about it, but we told her she would have to talk to him. There's no reason I should have called her about renting. She gave us some bullshit about someone making an offer on the house, then proceeded to tell us she needed to show it to someone. If they're ready to make an offer, they've seen it, right? She was really passive-aggressive, and I was not impressed.
We've had some sort of bad news about housemates this week, unfortunately. Adam's friend Gabby has dropped out and Ryan decided he doesn't want to move in just yet. Adam is unfortunately stuck in Louisiana for another week or more, so it's just me and Dustin in the house right now, though D's friend Amy is visiting.
The house is enormous and there's plenty of room for more people, so if anyone is looking to relocate, get in touch! Lynchburg, Charlottesville and Richmond are all within an hour of the house, so finding jobs should be no problem. Come one, come all!
