Wasted days
Between sorting out buses and bank cards and hostels, the past two days have been more or less wasted. Bleh. Very frustrating. We did see the Loch Ness Monster, though. She works behind the till at the Urquhart Castle visitors centre. We spent an hour walking out there and arrived half an hour before the castle closed for the evening and she would not let me use the ladies room without paying the £6.50 entry fee. So much for Highland hospitality. We spent all day today trying to find our way to Culloden, and finally got there at about 6:00 PM. Had to walk back to Inverness because for stupid bus schedule. Double Bleh.
Bus back to Sheffield early tomorrow morning, then hopefully Sheiks for dinner tomorrow night. Train to Manchester the day after and then the long trek back to Ohio. Would be nice if there was a job for us to go back to, wouldn't it?
