Long Day
Today I got up very early and helped Anna collect samples from a couple rivers near Sheffield. We were back by 4:30, which she says is awesome compared to her normal schedule.
Tried to get some nice, hot dinner from the University Arms and discovered instead the worst lasagne I have ever encountered. A bowl of greasy meat and tomato sauce with a few sad and incredibly al dente noodles floating in it, hidden beneath a flavourless cheese sauce. I was really hungry, but it was just plain inedible. I ended up going to the Interval and getting a brownie instead.
Anna is filtering water samples at the moment.
I have had no news on house stuff today. Bleh. I am very much leaning towards renting for the time being, rather than buying, even if it means I don't get my dream home. All the sensible people I know seem to agree about this.
I'm trying to decide if I really am thoroughly disgusted with myself or I am just tired. Could be either one.
