Back in Ohio
My flight out of Chicago was delayed for 1.5 hours. *sigh* Got back into Lancaster at midnight. Have to get up for work at 6:00. No time for a shower. At least, not if I want to sleep at all....
In Summary:
Jason Webley's new album, The Cost of Living is bloody awesome. There's only one song on it that I'm not really sure about yet.
Finally got my hands on a copy of Day Watch, and greatly enjoyed it. Lots of 'shippiness and much for an Anton/Olga 'shipper like myself to giggle over. Sillier than the first one, but intentionally so and in a good way, I feel. Also, less graphic violence.
Caterers suck. Especially caterers who want to charge £8 per person just for the use of place settlings. We could buy all our dishes for that price, I can't help but feel. I'd better have chiv tell them this is stupid, though, since if I do it, I am liable to be a bit sarcastic.
Still reading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, and still have no idea where it is going. I'm about 350 pages in and quite enjoying it, though.
Invitations are mostly figured out, but I still need to get more bronze ribbon (currently on order) and find a way to punch holes more than half an inch from the edge of a piece of paper. Oh, and get the return addresses printed on the envelopes.
elanya has been sent her fabric, so now I just have to worry about it getting there and being the right amount.
I have been re-united with my Buffy DVDs after slightly more than a year without. Also with the second disc of Gormenghast and one of my favourite CD carriers.
Did not bring back my guitar with me this time. Too much trouble.
Finally found a silver violin charm after a couple of weeks without success.
Have new old Doctor Who DVDs
Failed to see more than 10 minutes of House last night. Poo.
Sleep now....
