A good day
Today has been really nice. The weather is beautiful, and I got to go to church for the first time since Easter. Father Pursley announced chiv's and my engagement and everyone gave us their best wishes. It was really special. Of course they all asked to see The Ring, but it's been taken for resizing, and I won't have it back until May 4.
Also today I heard from an old friend whom I had not spoken to in some time. She emailed to offer her congratualtions. It was good to hear from her again.
I got a lot of work done on The Dress last night and this afternoon. The body of it is pretty much done. I still want to do some embroidery and hem up the bottom, and it will need an underdress, probably in silk, to go with it.
This evening, I'll probably be going out to food and movie with the crew (I think we're seeing Disturbia). And then maybe I'll dye my hair purple. Or maybe I'll do that before. Who knows?
