Recently our group leader, Dr. Fred Hawthorne, was awarded the most prestegious award the American Chemical Society gives, The Priestley Medal.  Its sort of the longtime achievement award in Chemistry.  Its an amazing accomplishment, and yet another reason that the University of Missouri should be proud of its people.
