the 4th continues

Yesterday, the 4th of July celebrations continued with our lovely guest Kate. We had a lazy but fun-filled Sunday of a Columbia Tour, the always delicious House of Chow. We finished off the day with a visit for a BBQ at my parent's place followed by a board game, dessert, and fireworks. Apparently everyone else decided to take advantage of the sales too, because there were fireworks going off like crazy! We had a lot of fun, and since my parent's live in the country we could shoot off all kinds of stuff, even the big artillery shells. It was a blast. I can't wait till the 4th in 2009! :) Today we're off to the St. Louis Zoo, so here are the pics from yesterday.
