I have figured in the past few days I have been researching various sites for their explanation on Final Fantasy 7. My theory has changed so much.. ( for all you non-rpgers i apologize, i have nothing else to write about)
at the end of FF7, everyone dies
of corse this is automatically fasified bu Advent Children, but I still believe that everyone is dead instead of cloud and company becuase they fell into the life-stream at the end. Okay, the lifestream was worried the whole entire game about the 'wound' of the planet, and that wound was obviosly midgar. The weapons were created to rid the earth of these 'wounds'. Why bring them up? Humans created midgar, thus ARE the wounds. When meteor was stopped by the lifestream, it used most of the earth's energy to do so. The weapons killed thing to restore parts of Mother Earth back. How else to do this then killing off the human race? No wonder cloud is second-guessing saving the world in Advent Children.
Aeris wasn't supposed to die
Yah, it's true people. At the end of the game you will notice that there are 9 pedestals, and only eight people are standing there. Not only that, the final battle comprises of three partys, with three people. Only two partys have three people in them...
My theroy on this is that Aeris' death was a late addition to the game becuase of low budget on account of Square. The story had gotten too complex to keep her in it and thus, would have made a 4th disc neccesary.
and there is no way to bring back Aeris without a game shark.
Cloud killed serperouth before the games events took place
Very true, and I never knew that. when Cloud has the flashback of Niebelhiem, he throws Seph into a mako reactor after being stabbed. Seperoith died but Jenova used his body and spirt to regenerate herself.
OMG but why do you seph throughout the entire game?!!
Easy, seph was a demigod, actually jenova was and used her awsome powers to use her son's body as a median to cloud and freinds.
Jenova controlled Cloud and that's why he had to fight it
Also very true. Cloud found out he was a clone of sephs in his re-visit to Nebielheim. In the begining his true grudge was for his hometown and mother. After that, his motives were blurry. Alot of the dialouge (and I will show you if you don't believe me) points out that Cloud was being manipulated by Jenova the entire time. Why didn't he help Aeris before she died? CONTROL. How did he know exactly where seph was at the ned of the game? CONTROL. He needed to break free of that thus defeating her.
I can go on all day..but below is my speculation of the AC movie.
Wheelchair Person, Aeris
Bitch all you want. I'm sticking to it. I can explain it to. When I body dies, it is not simply, gone. It goes into a lifestream until it finds another soul. Here is the kicker. Aeris used her soul for the lifestream. So that leaves on extra body for the taking. Her body is the X factor. Seph falls in along with cloud, seph dies, takes aeris body. His motives are the same, but the movie will come down to Cloud fighting seph through Aeris' body, which will make it kosher. (also the trailer shows a flower pot in the room that the wheelchair person is in)
