Here's the deal.  The hunger strike ended after less than 48 hours.  First I was served with a written councelling statement for "destruction of gov't property", which I served right back, saying that there was NO destruction taking place due to the fact that I had already set up an appointment with a dietician to find out what vitamins I would have to take to sustain myself at functional levels while engaged in the strike.  The next day I (along with my boss) was confronted by the Sgt. Major who told me 3 things.  1st- I can't protest shit, I'm not a civie, this ain't a democracy, and I can never pull any shit like this again.  2nd- Next time I have any sort of problem, if my initial chain of command isn't able to fix something, I should come up to him.  And 3rd and last- if he tells my chain of command to do something, and they don't, he will "crush them like a boa constrictor wrapped around their necks".  The look on my boss' face was priceless.  He then asked me a few times if I thought he was kidding and if I thought he could/would do it.  I answered with some "hooah"s and "roger"s where appropriate, and was dismissed.  Shortly after, everything had to be resubmitted and was double checked and resubmitted again.  Confirmation about the submission for the paperwork was received.  So it looks like things worked out.  My squad leader was mad at me for screwing things up for him (as he'd been filling out the paperwork on his own- like we were instructed multiple times (including by him) not to do.  Another E6 talked shit on me saying things like "do you feel like hot shit now?".  And of course, my boss wasn't thrilled either.  But, it all seems to be working out.  So, that's twice now that my crazy rash actions have made things happen for the better.  I'm not gonna go out of my way to go for a 3rd.  Cuz that's when they'd get me.

After that- I spent most of the past few days in a fever daze with a dropping BP, an increasing white blood cell count, decreased potassium, some fluid in my left ear, et cetera...  So that sucked.  Spent hours in the ER the first day, in and out of the clinic yesterday and today.  Released officially today, and tomorrow I'm back to work.  And we're supposed to be getting more good news tomorrow also.  We'll see what that's about.

Speaking of good news, In addition to the book being carried in more places (still everytime I google the thing I find it somewhere else), now my music is in more places as well.  http://skitzjonesandthechoirofliars.fuzz.com/ is where the whole Choir of Liars catalogue is being hosted.  Well, except for covers and songs that are so rough I decided not to put them up.  heh heh heh... But otherwise they're all there.  For now they're free- but soon, more music will be hosted up there for sale.  So for the time being- get them while they're free!

Yeah, I guess that's about it.
