A Night of Drunken/Sober Debauchery
We had the Horcrux Hunt at Harry Potter society last night. Wonderfully organised by silvernatasha, marcella_riddle and sarah62442!
We had a list of things to accomplish over the course of the evening. Me and my team of Slytherins (just the luck of the draw, honest!) - Beci, Izzy and Alex - managed all of them. With style, I might add. And stripping.
At least one person in the team had to drink something potion-like, ie red/green/blue. Lots of people got in on the act - even the toy dragon.
And after the drinking, Scorch the dragon even began humping HP...
We had to acquire various items from the pubs we visited. A beermat, a napkin and a sachet of something (ie, ketchup). We got the beermat ... and the napkin (with knife and fork still inside) ... and a bottle of ketchup. *whistles innocently*
There was also the let's-get-into-the-Ministry-of-Magic task, also known as how many people can we fit in a phonebox. Six, as it turned out.
And the task of swapping an item of clothing. The other team: swapped hats and hoodies. Pah, I say. Wusses. Alex and I swapped tops in Gassy's. Yay for public semi-nudity!
*ahem*
We also had to take a photo of random other people dressed in HP clobber. Luckily, I spotted Alec the flautist in The End and he's an accommodating chap. So was his friend Pete...
...and a nice lad called James who came over too. He was very happy to pose once...
...twice, as James Potter himself...
...and thrice, as the chap he told us he resembled (and tell me it ain't true) ... Cedric Diggory!
What a nice boy. And finally, my team's recreation of the Ministry of Muggles fountain. Izzy as the wizard, me as the witch, Beci as the house elf, and Sarah and Alex as the centaur in true panto style!
By the way, we won. We're just that cool.
