recap of the last 7 months!

Mar 05, 2006 14:53

I can't believe it's been 7 months since I've written in this sucker. I was bored, just sitting here today and I was thinking to myself...why not go back and read all your entries in your livejournal. And that motivated me to write!
The beginning of August was FL. I HAD SOOO MUCH FUN, OMGH! It was one of the highlights of my summer for sure. My summer ended August 15th, the first day of preseason for Cross Country (yes, I actually went through with it). August 16th was my birthday, but I did nothing special since I was at VF running (blaaah). Then school started the very end of August. My classes are decent, but not as good as freshman year. I absolutely love my english teacher this year (Ms. G) and I have Stauffer again for spanish. Come to think of it, I like all my teachers this year.
September & October were filled w/ Cross Country. Practices everyday after school and meets on every wednesday. I found out that I'm really good at Cross Country, and ended up placing 7th at championships and I recieved All League First Team :)
November was my off month. Winter Track started at the very end of that month. Ah, winter track. What to say. I cliqued extremely well w/ 3 girls, who become the other 3 members of my 4x800 team. Pro, Srah, and Kimi are these amazing girls, that i love so so much! We bonded a lot throughout the season, and they kept me sane with all the winter track drama. I didn't have an outstanding season, but I was still happy with my performences. I went 5:54 in the mile, and 2:37 in the 800.
Winter track ended in the middle of February, but I continued running w/ some girls to keep in shape.
That brings you to the month of March. Spring Track starts tomorrow. eeek. You'd think I would be a lot more excited, but I'm really not. My life will be over starting tomorrow, not to mention that I'm nervous and dreading the fact that they told me I'll be running the 300 hurdles again this season. WHY WHY WHY? ughhh! When I was reading all my old entires I wrote a lot about track and how much I loved it, so maybe once I get into this season I'll really enjoy it again. I'm REAALYYY hoping to district qualify in the 800, mile, 4x800 and I guess if I have to run the 300 hurdles, then I wanna' district qualify in those too!

I believe there is only about 64 days left of school, which excites me beyond belief. Ooooh, I totally forgot. I'm going to Costa Rica this summer (June 19th, the monday we get out of school) with a bunch of kids from my school, KB, Stauffer & Smith (ahhhhh, i'm so excited!)

Who knows when I'll write next.
But until then
Stay Saucy
hg :)
