All my friends are my girlfriends.
Here's my little rant topic for the day:
You know what is really fucking frustrating? To be a lesbian and whenever your Mother mentions one of your FRIENDS who happens to be FEMALE she choses to describe them as GIRLFRIENDS. In this sense, it would be as if I fuck everyone of my girlfriends, kiss them, tell them I love them, hold their hands, etc. No fucking thank you. I ask her, 'could you please avoid using that term to describe my female friends? God, anyone who knows me is going to think I'm a queer effing whore.'She responds with, 'well I'm sorry, but it's how I talked when I grew up, and I'm not altering my language for you.' What the fuck ever. Fine, I'll just have 50 something girlfriends. No big deal, right? She never refers to Tony or Chad or something as a boyfriend, and when I got a package from Ducky, she said that she was my 'friend'. Thanks, Mom.
