Back to normal
I'd been updating almost every day, so I figured I should just check in since I'm not too busy yet. This week will be busy, but should be okay. Things are getting back to normal after the stuff of the last couple of weeks. Roomie and I are getting along pretty well. She broke up with her boyfriend (told him she wasn't going to put up with his refusal to commit, good for her!) and so she's got a lot more free time. I have a lot of homework and a couple of tests this week, but strangely enough, I feel okay about it. Tonight there's going to be some really nasty weather--mid to upper 30s and rainy, with a chance of snow showers. It's not so bad, though, with my portable heater and electric blanket, a cup of hot chocolate and the outside chance of no class tomorrow. That is the one thing about the South: we totally freak out about ice and snow. Boots has had an upset tummy lately. I'm trying to put off taking him to the vet, though. Last time I took him, they gave him special food he wouldn't eat and moped around and of course hated the trip to the vet's office. But right now he just wants to cuddle, and since I've been at JB's friend's house watching the Super Bowl, I should indulge him.
