End of Summer *sigh*

So I guess summer is over huh? Sad to see the yard all bare... Put the kayak and canoe away yesterday, maybe we'll have one more nice day, so I can pull one out, "one last time". Going fishing with my friend again next week. Hopefully fish are biting now it's cooled off.
Got a busy month ahead... Going fishing with another friend,
Lori roped me into giving a seminar at a conference for foster parents. Got to talk about "strategies for dealing with FAS youth. It seemed like a good idea at the time! Now I feel sick just thinking about it! Also gonna meet with some big wig from Edmonton, they possibly want to use one of the songs I wrote for their FAS conferences. Supposed to discuss copy rights, money, and permission for them to use it. Also whether or not I want to re record it and allow them to make copies for sale. Kind of nervous about that too... Also have the big awards dinner for the fall fair, WHOO HOO I get a trophy for my art, an award for the garden and for having won the most points overall in the open classes. Mostly excited about the art though. Going to art class in 2 weeks, and a friend and I are going to the Buddhist Temple in Calgary, in a couple of weeks.
Ms K is still working and Zman is doing good.
My neighbour is gonna help Z and I put the hard top on my Jeep this coming week. Kind of a bummer...no more driving with the top down, till spring :-(
So gonna get my house all organized so as I can spend lots of time painting. I decided that I love the oils over the acrylic but the smell kind of bothers my breathing, so do the Ferrets lol. But they are really fun to watch running around the front room. Just gonna have to find a different place for their cage....
In other news... Whoo hoo all the seasons premieres are starting up! Gonna have to re organize life so we can watch them. Thank god for PVR's!
Sam and Max are good...Sam has actually gotten a brain! But even if he hadn't he is so lovable. Max is smart as ever, gonna have to teach him some new stuff!
So family have finally backed off. It is good to finally just weed out the negative and fill life with positives, and believe me I am very grateful for all the positives that have been happening this last year.
