Catching Up!

So had a really good BD...Zman got me an awesome Canon power shot camera! Went fishing with a good friend to Blood Indian,really enjoyed it, came home and Zman bought dinner and Ms K had gotten a cake with "to the best mom ever" It was a really good day!
Have been working in the garden lots! Had lots of stuff to enter at the fair. Got best veggie garden, best horticulture, most overall points for entries. The one that made me most proud was I won the open art class! Everyone of my paintings and sketches got a ribbon and lots of really nice comments. Whoo Hoo. I mean it's one thing for friends and family to say they are good but having a judge from Calgary put that many positive comments and award that many ribbons made me kinda realize, "I done good" lol.
Other news...we now have 2 ferrets "Cheech and Chong" characters to say the least...you ever want to laugh just watch a couple of those playing around!
So my life is becoming more peaceful. I am creating myself and discovering the joys of "the planets being alligned." :-) Am looking forward to being able to paint more through the winter . I have finally realized that I can choose who and what I want to be in my life...and that it is ok to leave behind the negative people and things that don't allow me to grow.
I have 2 AWESOME children. Even though they are now adults I am really proud of the people they are becoming....
Have not been out in the canoe or kayaking for awhile but now things have slowed down that is next on the agenda. Still love bombing around in my Jeep! Love playing with Max and Sam, Love going to my art class! and enjoy staying overnight. So it is all good...
