(no subject)
I had 3 days off this weekend - spent a lot of the weekend running around Hamilton -- the rest was spent in bed or watching the L Word (Season 4) with my girl.
How freaking gay was that. We rented the freaking L Word and watched the whole season in like two days. It was cute though.
Filed my application for my passport on Friday morning. I was a gal about town all by myself while Sue was at work. Went to the passport office, went to the market - got cheese & fruit and cookies... oh! and Ladoos... OMG if you haven't had a Ladoo, you seriously should. They're like little Indian Timbits. Freaking fantastic.
I went shopping and then headed back. Hung out with Sue's roommate for a bit. Mary is good times. Sue and I went to the Indian buffet place for dinner (Never Disappoints!).
Saturday morning involved Ikea (and Breakfast at Ikea!) and then shopping at Mapleview. We went grocery shopping, rented the aforementioned L Word, and then snuggled up on the couch.
She made me pan seared butter Scallops with spinach pasta & 3 cheese sauce - and these crazy raspberry balsamic garlic shrimp. The girl can cook Scallops like nobodies business - they were perfect.
I hate that I had to leave yesterday. She kept saying 'just stay here'. I slept like absolute crap last night. It's getting really hard.
Good news is that the house around the corner from me, which I thought ridiculously overpriced has sold! only a week and a half on the market. WOOT. Good news for listing my house. Now I only need to determine when I list. I think after Vegas. That gives me some time to fix up a few things and stuff.
