All Wired Up
Okay, portable internet is pretty much the best idea ever!
I was sitting in the guest room of my parents' house typing emails when the internet went down (they are doing a lot of work on the power grid and cable lines in Don Mills lately, it's always giving us grief). I cursed at the computer for a few moments because I really wanted to send these emails so I could curl up in bed with my book when I realized something:
I totally bought a portable internet modem for my new apartment yesterday and it's sitting in the room right now!
I sighed, got the boxes out, and figured there was no way it was going to be that easy. I was wrong. It seriously was.
I plugged the modem into the wall, plugged the modem into my computer, and voilà! Instant internet. That's all there was too it!
Rogers is also coming to set up my home phone and cable the day I move in. They are so in my good books (for now)!
