Well let's see. I started this LJ account so I could do one thing and one thing alone... Track down one of The Brotherhood, Shaun-Sans-Pants. I'm tryin' to find the pantsless one so I can get his aft to Fl next year to be a groomsman in my wedding. Along the way I've found quite a few other friends. Quick and short update as I'm sending this from work is that last April I met a woman who pretty much fits together with my personality in a way I've never experienced before. We actually do the whole communicating thing and tell each other everything going on, good or bad. Her names Jessica and I met her last March, of all places, at DeCePtIcOn Karaoke! I chatted her up a bit to get her confidence up to go on stage, then she started coming back more often, next thing you know we're hanging out and getting to be friends.
Then on april 20th of last year I was working Puddle of Mudd and I took a fall down the loading ramp with a road case and landed badly. I managed to break my toe, but when I started trying to take off my shoe to look at it, I realized I had screwed up my hand so I called her up at Karaoke and asked her if she'd give me a ride to the ER. She was more than happy to. We chatted for a long while as we waited, she hung out with me while I saw the doc, then drove me the thirty miles or so out of town to my house. It was nice, as the pain killers had kicked in, she put me to bed, made sure I was allright, then headed out.
Turns out I had left all my paperwork that I needed for workman's comp in her car so I called her up and said I'd buy her lunch if she would bring them to me. Lunch extended into let's go see a movie, which extended into let's go to dinner, which led to us dating seriously.
You'll love her, everyone else does. 8) Come, come to FL and hang with me and Phantom!
FYI, Phant's doing ok, been working his aft off as always and hates his work environment. The usual coworkers trying to backstab each other for a promotion that will net them another 10c an hour.
Anyway, good to hear from you girl, take care and hopefully I'll talk to you soon.
