Ohai, OP here!

This was exactly what I was hoping for! \o/ I'm so dorkily in love with the Field Museum and just the thought of these boys being in it is just plain love. ^_^

Brendon was such a little ball of adorable! I wanna hug him so hard right now.

Considering a lot of them have lived in Chicago, I'm sure most of them have been in it at some point. :] And I'm dorkily in love too. It's one of my top five places in the world, which is why when I saw the prompt I absolutely had to write it. I ended up throwing a lot of what I like in the museum into the fic. Like the taxidermy bunny William was upset over, I used to get upset over it all the time because they had a dead bunny in the claws of a predator bird and I thought it was evil. And Pete laying on the floor in the middle of the civil rights picture exhibit, yeah, that's real life too because I did the exact same thing when I went with a cousin. Me and Pete agree, pictures are just not as cool ( ... )

I like to believe that they've all been there, even if they've spent their entire Chicago lives living under a rock. DUDE! You got to see the pirate exhibit!? Jealous! I was gonna go, but we didn't end up going in time. The last time I went, they had the King Tut exhibit up, but my baby sister cried through the whole thing and we had to leave early. :-C I have a membership. ^_^ Anyway, I totally would have named your stegosaurus Nubs. Because I'm mean like that. X-D

Museum nerds FTW! We must unite! Or something.

I'm glad I reposred it, then.

Ryan will leave that place with much more than he bargained for. X-D Brendon wants to see the lions and the tigers and the polar bears and he'll get really sad when the seals are all inside and he can't see them... Oh, what a time they will have.

The Field Museum is hard to avoid. It's the best damn museum that I know of. The Museum of Science and Industry is nice (I went there for the Harry Potter exhibit) but it doesn't hold a candle to the Field Museum. And yup! My cousin wanted to go see the civil rights exhibit, but I was all about the pirates. But I didn't get to see the King Tut exhibit! And my absolute favorite part is all the ancient egypt stuff. The mummies. Some of them are just so tiny! I can't believe it.

We definitely need to unite, and since we're nerds, we'll do better at that than the procrastinators group which never seems to get its act together.

So long as it's Brookfield they can go to the petting zoo! And stare at the alligator as it never ever moves. And see the penguins! And try to go in the children's play area. Poor poor Ryan.

I'm the world's biggest history nerd ever (I'm even setting my Big Bang in the Middle Ages) so the Field Museum is the one for me! The Kig Tut one was good from what I saw of it, but I'm bummed that I couldn't see the rest. Mummies totally rock.

Unfortunately I'm part of both the nerd and procrastinators' groups... I'm a geek who can't seem to get her act together. X-O

Haha! Oh, Brendon.

Oh, man, it's gonna be awesome. It's about serf-turned-servant!Patrick working for this callous, careless Lord until something goes horribly wrong (like he is assigned to make dinner and he makes something that the Lord is allergic to, and since they didn't know any better back then, Patrick is accused of trying to poison him.) and Patrick is sentenced to death. Of course Lord Peter seems to know that Patrick hasn't done anything wrong and offers to buy him. He makes a huge scene of it, swearing that he's going to work Patrick so hard that he'll wish he'd died and Patrick kind of believes him and dreads to work for him and...

Well. The rest is kind of secret. I kind of want at least a little bit of it to be a surprise. ^_^
