wow, thought i'd never end up back here. but here i am. i feel like getting some stuff off my chest.
ok, first its been forever, esp if you are still here and havent seen or read anything on myspace (though its been forever there too, but longer here) so i'm gonna try and go from where i left off on the last entry, which the last true entry i believe was just short of 2 years ago. fortunately, not a real whole lot has happened.
1, the ear piercing. well eventually, my parents caught me off gaurd. about a month or so, maybe more (it was a while back), after it happened my parents came to have lunch with me, unfortunately, i slept till almost noon and i never got the memo, so i tried to take it out before we got to lunch, but they managed to see the hole in my ear and the jig was up. fortunately, they were a lil perturbed that i kept it hidden from them, but they said as long as i keep it clean and stuff, they didnt mind too much.
2, college after that year at college, i stopped and went back home and got a couple jobs (more on that in a bit)
3, my girlfriend (now ex-girlfriend), i broke up with her sometime before the end of the year. (it was a while back i cant remember when exactly) the thing i mentioned in a previous entry about a trip to california was a major influence. she got real upset with me. in fact she's still upset with me, even though i've seen her only once since college. also, one of the reasons she's upset with me is that she thinks i broke up her to go after our friend lisa (who is now still with cody). nothing happened ever between lisa and i and my ex still claims we did something.
~~~i also have not had a other girlfriend since her. unfortunately
4, JOBS, ok, so as soon as i got out of that year of college, i went job hunting. so i went and applied for McAlisters. (it had been there for about a year or so, it was being built when we were house hunting (though i may have mentioned that in a previous entry)), unfortunately due to some contruction work, business had been fluctuating (mostly in the lower end of business). so with one hope dashed, i thought "hey, my brother loved working at the movie theatre back in MS, i should go apply at that spiffy cool 'old fassioned' looking theatre." so i did. and i had an interview and got the job. i had to get a "food handlers card" (which i dont think they had anything like that in MS, if they did, i never heard about it.). i was so excited. so then the day before my first day at the theatre, i get a call from one of the managers from McAlister's Deli (about 4-5ish in the afternoon) wanting to know if i'd still be interested in a job there at McAlister's. well i was psyched out! so then i wasnt sure what to do, do i keep the theatre and blow off mcalisters, or say "sorry" to the theatre and go to mca's, or i could try to keep both. so i go my mca's and pretty much the guy asked me when i could start, i told him i'd be back in half an hour with my uniform on. pretty much i've been working both jobs since then. (this was back in mid-april).
~~~~well to go along with that, i quit mca's about a month or so ago. (total time at new store was about 1 year 4months-ish. Total Accumulated time working for mca's about 3 years, 2 months-ish). I am still working at the movie theatre. and my mom has not quit bugging me about finding a new job since i quit mca's.
>>>also, (almost forgot) there was a 2 month period where i was also working at a restaurant called shorty smalls. so yes for a while i had 3 jobs.
5, geekery. so i found a comic shop that also sells cards. (found this place shortly after spider-man 3 came out). pretty much i've made new friends there. Tom, real cool guy. he loves magic the gathering. Lawrence, he works there, plays d&d and is a big green lantern fan. Kerry, Lawrence's son. loves magic and d&d, he can get annoying sometimes. and a few other people over there. (also found a d&d group there that i joined in we play on friday's) unfortunately, it being a comic/card shop, i found myself endulged with some of the comics. so i now have a collection of my own slowly growing.
6, other stuff. so the basement wasnt finished (except for the bathroom) when we got this house. but since then we have put up the drywall and painted the 2 bedrooms. and just about a week ago uncle mike came and helped us get the 'family' room (pretty much the rest of the basement) drywalled.
