I am the master of shopping
I went to Rockaway today and it was super fun! I spent girly time with Bonnie at EBX and got to chat with Kyle and Melissa a bit too. I love that girl, even if we've both been a little flaky and unable to make plans. But really, this Saturday we're all going to get drunk at Muldoon's and sing karaoke! Bonnie and Mel are double-dating with Mike and Kyle. Bonnie told me to make it a triple date and invite Ledd but I know he'll be at his dad's. Too bad, I know Bonnie really wanted to meet him and all. It will still be fun though :)
Anyway I ended up ripping a hole in my favorite jeans at work on Wednesday, and I was kind of upset because I don't have a lot of money to afford expensive things like new jeans. However, Urban Behavior was having a sale on jeans and each pair was $9.50 so I ended up getting two pairs of nice jeans! I also got cheered up by the fact that one of the pairs was size 00. I thought I was gaining a bit of weight lately but I guess it was all in my head...I haven't fit into 00 jeans since I was 16.
I hung out with Colin in the mall for a bit, we got some Sakkio and chatted. We wandered into FYE and I ended up buying two movies that are absolutely awesome to watch drunk: Tron and Urban Legend. Tron I love for nostalgia purposes, and Urban Legend is one of the funniest bad horror movies ever. We also bought some Pocky, hooray!
I went home and had a talk with my mom about college stuff. I decided to keep my English major and not switch to Psychology or F&C studies. I guess I felt kind of panicked about being unsure about what I wanted to do and I felt like changing my major was the only thing that I could do. However talking with my mom calmed me down and helped me get focused on what I want to do with my life. I really want to go into game journalism; even if it's a tough dream to chase it's my dream nonetheless and I'm going to pursue it will all my power.
Anyway, late in the night I went home only to find that Brendan was in the Montclair area! Hooray! So we hung out and chatted a bit. I gave him some of the games I picked up from him at the store. We talked about video games, life, etc. It was good times.
So all in all a good day :) Tomorrow I have me some work and I get paaaaid! Need to remember to mail out my rent and all but other than that, just time chillin at the store with Ryan, it'll be good times.
