Okay, I'm back in the states in approx. 3 days. It's scary. I'm exhausted. Apart from working on this damn paper(which came out to be a grand total of 15 pages minus bibliography) and my presentation for Dr. Jackass's (oh. oops. I meant London, not Jackass...no, I meant Jackass) class, I really don't have too big a reason to be tired. But I can barely keep my eyes open right now. Which will be interesting because I'm off to visit the Tate Modern and wouldn't it just be hilarious if all of a sudden the curator turned the corner only to find me asleep in the corner under some sort of construction made to look like a urinal(by the way, here it's pronounced "your-eye-nal." hand to god) only it's called "fountain." I find the whole "would be" situation to be quite Freudian. I hate Freud. According to him my mother would be the main driving force behind all of my problems. I don't think that, mom, I love you. Anyways. So yeah, the atmosphere of the museum might put me to sleep and that can't happen because I go and see Kevin Spacey at the Old Vic theatre tonight, of which he is the new artistic director. So I'll let you know how that goes. After being here a while and actually seeing people from many different movies and tv shows, etc., it really doesn't feel weird to say, "I'm going to see Kevin Spacey in person. You know, the guy who won the oscar for American Beauty whom I find truly amazing and engaging to watch?" Yeah. It really doesn't seem that far fetched anymore. Not that I'm spoiled or no longer appreciate it, that's not the case. But London attracts so many big names that it's really not that suprising any more. Hey, dad, you know how we sit down and watch movies and then try to link the actors with their previous work? That's what I do when I go to shows here(at least West End shows. Fringe shows are completely different and in many respects they are better. The National Theatre had the best work I've seen. It's not fringe, but it's damn good). Anyhoo, I must be off cuz it's a 7:30 curtain(or 19:30, god I can't wait to get off military time!) and I wanted to spend at least a few hours roaming the Tate. I'll write once more before I go home because I have to talk about my trip to Prague. See you guys soon! Real soon!
