I'm not dead. I just don't have constant internet access. Or time to be online. Huzzah. But I am alive and well.
I
That was pretty crazy.
And then I came straight to
This is Main Street. Seriously. It is as tiny a town as it looks.
This is the theatre housing. I'm on the top floor of the lavendar "pod" at the top of the hill.
This is the view of the San Juan Mountains looking one direction from the housing.
And THIS is what I see when I walk to work at the theater everyday. The infamous Creede Cliffs. They're incredible to see constantly.
I absolutely love everything about life here. The people are incredible. The shows are fun. The geography is breathtaking. It's such a crazy change of pace in the way of life from what I'm used to in NY. Creede is TINY. No chain ANYTHING, which is awesome. One grocery store. The theatre. The Rio Grande River. Some wonderful local restaurants, art galleries, and shops. You have to see this place to believe somewhere like it really exists.
Granted, I'm in rehearsal 12ish hour a day...working even longer on days when we have shows...but it's a good sort of exhausting because I'm doing what I love.
I couldn't ask for a more perfect place to be spending the next 4 months.
