Home for the holidays...
Well, today was my last day at work until after Christmas. At least we get kind of a mini-break for a few days. As nice as it is to have that time off, I wish I could just spend it sleeping. But no, instead it's traveling home to see my family. I love them! I really do! But there's bound to be drama. There was drama at Thanksgiving. It'll be a smaller group now, fewer out of town family members. But still my parents, probably my dad's parents, and my mom's sister. They're great, really, but at the first opportunity I've had in a while to take a few days off... I kinda wish I didn't have to spend it going into another stressful situation, y'know?
Oh well. I know I'll have fun. We aren't doing much of a gift exchange, but the small things I got for people will hopefully be enjoyed. And at least there will be food!
