What up LJ?
So, it seems that I have neglected my poor dear LJ again… work and Epoch have been so über busy that I’ve not been able to take the time to update as I should.
The month of May has been very busy:
-Family lunch at my Aunt D’s on Mother’s Day, then dinner at my in-laws
-Shearing Weekend at Kickin Back Alpaca Ranch (we sheared 16 alpacas in 2 days, not bad since it was my stepdad’s first time doing the shearing himself)
-I developed what I thought was the worst case of allergies ever, but it turned out it was a sinus infection as well as congestion in my lungs… I was on antibiotics, two inhalers and a nasal spray. Yeh, my purse totally looked like a pharmacy for the longest time… still kinda does…
-Epoch long weekend event, J, lots of work led up to the first event of the season, and there’s still more work to come… but also some big things, I hope.
-The drama that is my 16 year old stepsister… she left home for a few days at the beginning of the month and has been getting in trouble at school, skipping classes and mouthing off, my poor mother’s at her wit’s end about what to do
-Massive project in the warehouse at work, Ray worked so much over time the last month, and I worked several extra hours to help out, too
-Hmmm… there must be more… but my brain has gone blank
FINALLY got to watch the finale of Celebrity Apprentice last night. So very happy that Bret Michaels won. He’s overcome so much in the last few months. I’m not sure if some of the decision was made as “pity votes” though, because of what he’s overcome… but if you look back, he was strong from the beginning. Many people didn’t think he’d make it through the first few episodes, what with his penchant for being late (very rock star…)… but he did it. And he did a great job. Congrats Bret! And get better!
