last ball game?
Pending on if it rains Monday, tonight may have been my last game. In true baseball fashion here is how it went down...by the 5th inning it was 8-4 for us, the next inning they got 3 runs to make it 8-7, in the bottom of the 7th we got 4 runs to make it 12-7, then in the top of the 8th they got 5 runs to make it 12-12..bottom of the 8th.
first batter for us...out, next batter gets a single, then I come up to the plate, HOME RUN. boo YA 14-12 for us going into the 9th! In the 9th, we get an out...then they load the bases down by 2, they score to make it 14-13...one out. Pop fly, two outs...runners are tagging...tying run comin to the plate...our pitcher cuts it off!!! throw it too 3rd, 3rd baseman lays the tag down, bodies are everywhere... umpire: "SHOW ME THE BALL!" me: "SHOW HIM THE BALL!" buddy shows the ball, OUT! GAME OVER WE WIN!
So to wrap things up, if it all ends here, I got the winning home run in the bottom of the 8th to end a very exciting game of baseball! CHEERS
