yay
So I'm home now. After not studying at all during both reading days on Wednesday and Thursday and procrastinating til about 3 hours before my religion final on Thursday I was ready for the weekend. I woke up on Saturday around 9ish and studied most of the day...then gave up around 5 and just started playing online. Eventually we watched a movie--Only You. It's good if you haven't seen it...Yay for Robert Downing Jr. :-Þ So yeah. Went to bed about 2 and then got up at 10 on Sunday to study some more. I never really did study til about 1 in the afternoon, and then Anna (yay thanks soooo much!!) and I went to Champaign to pick up Matt. We got back and ate Sunday night dinner (yum...) and watched the super fun power point Gen made for all of us. I don't really remember what happened after that...there was some playing and failed attempts to study (oops) and then Steph and Mel's goofy girls Katie and Brittany set up a scavenger hunt for us...wow that was exciting! *grin* So that was a good stress reliever and it was really fun. Except we sorta sucked. But whatever. We came back and started watching Life as a House (yaaaaaaaaay) at like 1 am...I definitely got about 3 hours of sleep before my psych final at 8 am. It was a huge adventure trying to get ready and out of the room with three people sleeping on the 5 feet of space we have on the floor...but hey that's what makes life exciting. But I think I was more prepared than I thought I was. My memory is a heck of a lot better this year than it ever has been. I was sorta surprised by the fact that it was 90% essays...so that was kind of scary. But I think they were okay. Then I came back and took a shower and studied for Spanish. I know I had to get an 85 on my final to get an A in the class and from what I think I missed I should be fine. I hope...*crosses fingers* So after the final I went to sell my books--I spent close to 300 dollars this semester and I got 40 back. POOP!! And now most of it's gone from paying Gen for food and puting gas in the car. So yay for that! Anyway. After that disappointing adventure I packed and drove Matt back to Champaign and then went home. Yay! I took a nap for like 2 hours and then ate yummy food...and now I'm here. About to go watch tv with my parents. Yippee!
So as much fun as last night was I think that Sunday night parties are going to be illegal from now on. Especially on finals weekend...*grin* But hey it was worth it. It was good for not worrying about finals and I think I still did okay. And I got to watch Life as a House wich makes everything better! Hah. Yay well it's time to go somewhere besides here. Yay for may term break!
Oh...Steph (my Fergie neighbor) is coming on Saturday to go to the musical and spend the night. I think we're going to have a bonfire/burn school stuff party after that...so if anybody has any stuff they know they can get rid of feel free to join us! :-D
