so i try so hard not to listen to emo music (for reasons why, please refer to adam & andrew's hit single, "i must be emo"), but bright eyes just gets me with these words

i am headed north for a huge change in atmosphere, possibly the greatest adventure yet - if i can ignore my unforgettable travels. i'm going to feel the pulse of an electric city. i'm going to be in the heart of our country, and every night i will fall asleep with my head throbbing in time with my environs. the district and i will sleep alone, and i couldn't be more excited.

if i thought i was blind before i met you, i can see all too clearly now.
