Men Of Low Moral Fibre
I usually end up at best slightly anxious or mellow sad or at worst seething in rage in anger on my birthdays for one reason or another. Something is always happening or looming overhead and I think over time I've grown more easily perturbable. Yesterday, however (aside from missing the whole thing in Maine), was entirely pleasant and pretty super awesome. A sign of the times. Mostly a relaxed day with Sarah and Adam and then the family later. People got me some pretty kickass presents and a couple of the most delicious and visually appealing cakes I ever did see. Spring break also panned out far better this year as we went away away for a couple days, beach in Gloucester, brief scientific studies, revels' glen up in dover and so forth. Playing with the band a few times lately and now we have a new practice space, working out some new tunes that have potential. School is pretty ok and the prospect of leaving salem in a few months time is a nice one. Big plans for this summer and thereafter and am (somewhat sadly) giving my notice at work tomorrow for a few months away. Striking a blow to complacency.
