I really love the ideas presented in the videos for bars, restaurants and cafes, and also the retail applications - like product comparisons by just placing the products on the surface. I can't wait for these to start popping up in nice lounges and stuff.
However, I doubt this will catch on for home use. For one, it's far too expensive, and two what point is there in having a coffee table if you can't cover it in controllers, remotes, magazines, cats, etc. I bet before this hits the home space, we'll be seeing it applied in a very different way. Rather than a table, perhaps as an easel or something?
