Futureshop Support FTW

So I ordered Crackdown back on February 22nd. It apparently shipped on the 23rd, and here we are going into the second week of March and no game.

I got sick of waiting weeks ago and bought it at Walmart and figured I'd just return it when I got the game in. I ended up getting Futureshop orders in I had made long after Crackdown. So I figured I'd have to take it up with Canada Post (groan).

But for some reason I thought I'd call Futureshop first. I thought maybe it just hadn't left the warehouse for one reason or another and I'd be able to cancel it (since the tracking doesn't explicitly say it's left the warehouse, just that the "details have been electronically submitted"). I wait on hold for 3 seconds and a friendly woman answers. I explain the situation, and she brings up my order. She tells me that it has indeed been shipped and is in Canada Post's hands.

At this point I figure I'm screwed and I'll have to deal with the lost package idiots at Canada Post, when she informs me that Futureshop will not only credit my card for the item, but they'll deal with Canada Post themselves. I was shocked.

Also since the game was on sale at the time, I was told that if I wanted to try ordering it again, they'd give me the original sale price.

Well done, Futureshop. Will buy again A++++++++
