First of all, I gots to say a big thank you to all of the people who made my birthday party such a wonderful time. To Frankie, Tom, Spic John, Tanu, Kelly, Jon, 'Ness, Kim, and especially to Julie, you guys are the best. To Pete, Gina, Ralphie, and anyone else who was not here, you missed good times. I pardon most of you, but we have to remember to kill Ralphie.
Anyway, something kind of funny. Julie and I were discussing what we needed in terms of a shopping list. I said we needed dishwasher stuff. Julie says no, we have some. To demonstrate, she takes a box of powder dishwasher stuff that has been here since we moved in. It's kind of lumpy, she says. To demonstrate, and to break up the lumps, she shakes the box vigorously. Three shakes and the bottom falls out of the box, discharging a huge cloud of white powder all over the kitchen. Julie and I look at the pile of powder, look at each other, and Julie announces we need dishwashing stuff. It was one of those moments that makes me realize just how priceless Julie is.
