100 hours on the train, 7 days on the road, 5 showers in 14 days, 1 night almost dying of cold, on average 4000m above sea level.
Tibet rocked. And I mean it literally. There was just rocks all over the place. Rocks, rocks and more rock. Tiny ones, middle ones, big ones, huge ass ones. We rocked throughout our trip as we wound through the many mountains to see yet another mound of rock, another temple.
I never quite know how to chronicle my trips, or tell people of my travels. Attempts were made during the train rides to blog about the journey, and I've concluded that it can be summarised into these few words:
travel companion x 1 super awesome one.
cute old china bunk mates on the train x 3.
books read x 5.
temples x too many.
monks x never ending.
yak meat x enough to make us choke.
rocks x infinity.
oxygen x too little.
sun x too strong.
cold x sometimes too much.
junk food x excessive.
Tibet x never again.

My computer's RAM is struggling under the weight of the few photos that I have, so they'll come in dribs and drabs, as usual. The photos this time have been greatly disappointing. And oddly enough, it may not be the problem with my photography skills - or lack there of really - because the scenery is so beautiful that it does look as artificial as the photographs show it to be.
Hope that by my next post, I'll have proper photos to share about my trip.
