A story

A woman from a poor town came to see Ghandi. Having walked for miles, she waited as long as it took to see Ghandi. When it was her turn she asked Ghandi, "My child won't stop eating candy. No matter what i tell him. What should i do?" Ghandi then told the woman to come back to him in two weeks with her son for an answer. She waited the two weeks and then returned with her son. Ghandi sits the mother and son down, then looks at the boy and says, "Boy, stop eating candy." The mother looks at Ghandi and says, "Why couldn't you have told me to say that to him two weeks ago?" Ghandi turns to the woman and says, "Two weeks ago, I was still eating candy."

Moral is that all social change begins with personal change.
