i'm updating my journal from my french lab class; it's that worthwhile.
i got my first mid-term back; jesus life and legacy, i received an 83%. i'm pleased but it could've been better. i'm thankful that i'm finished mid-terms now. yesterday i wrote the mid-term-from-hell: financial management. i studied a great deal beforehand and the material wasn't challenging, by any means, and i was very confident going into it. the exam turned out to big the most confused thing i've ever seen. there was an abundance of questions that our prof. specifically told us would not be on the exam and most of the content came from only a small portion of the lectures -- stuff not even convered in our textbook. at least everyone is in the same boat so it's not just going to be me failing. something has to give.
i found out my exam schedule for december. this is both good and horrible. while most of my exams are during the first week (which means I get off really early in December) for some reason my jesus exam isn't until december 18th. ah! what a way to ruin a potentially excellent christmas break. oh well.
i'm finished all my work at the moment. je m'ennuye.
