THE POSITION IS DISHWASHER. YOU'LL BE HELPING WITH PREP WORK IN THE KITCHEN, AND ALSO ASSISTING THE HEAD CHEF. There is a cooking program and you'll stay on site for a week and come home on weekends.
These are resident (live-in) staff positions, which include food and lodging. Camp staff are given appropriate time off during and between sessions. Female staff are housed in quarters that are centrally located to the girls in their charge. Male staff are housed in separate quarters from all females. Camp staff must be flexible to reassignment throughout the summer. All staff undergo a criminal background screening and a substance abuse test. All Staff must be willing to subscribe to the Girl Scout Promise and Law and have knowledge of the Girl Scout program or be willing to learn. All camp positions require people who are team players, willing to accept other duties as assigned, able to withstand the extreme summer heat, and can get along with others in various settings. Dishwasher - 16 years of age minimum. Wash dishes, pots and pans. Help keep kitchen area clean. Help with
preparation of meals. Salary range: $130 - 205/week.
The camp director said she had other positions too, like lifeguard. etc I can email her and ask. This is a great way to earn some summer cash. I promised I'd have a reply by Wednesday so please comment if interested! I can give you a lot more info from the last time I worked there. I had a good time. You get used to the heat XD You can bring a portable fan (very good idea) for at night when you sleep. There is a washer and drier and showers/bathrooms =3 Also a staff lounge, last time I worked there there Girl Scouts lent us a PS2 and DDR pad etc <3 you can also go off camp when you have a night off.
