This past week has been decent. Lots of fun, though a good bit of work too. Last week I had an Art100 Exam (94%), a BIOL150 exam (86%), and a BIOL105 Lab practical (that grade wasnt pretty). I also had a ENGL101 Assignment Due (A).
Last week I played Tennis once and also ran once. Kerry timed how long it took me to run a mile with depressing results. It took me 7:54 to complete. That's pathetic. I really need to bring that down some. On the bright side, my tennis game is improving.
Friday Night: Cookout at Kerry's. A bunch of friends and a bunch food. We also met the "local drunk" named Dickey. In between his sips of liquor, we were told all about the "largest tree in the state of Allegany". Apparently it has faces that look at you. You kinda had to be there to really appreciate Dickey. Anyway, all in all good times.
Saturday AM: Hike with Kerry on Monroe Run. I caught 4 or 5 brookies on my fly rod. Kerry took some nice pictures of the fish for me to use as drawing references. We also got a bunch of nice wildflower shots. SPRING REALLY IS COMING!
Saturday PM: Drove to Green Ridge State Forest and met up with some of the ol' Venturing Crew. They had been biking during the day. I hiked with them and saw a grouse, a deer, a turkey, and a MEEPING woodcock. Again, Good times.
Saturday Night: Debut of new tent and new sleeping bag. Both passed, and temperatures dropped several degrees below zero.
Sunday AM: Another Hike, and then I drove home.
Overall a fantabulous week for Dave. (However, lately my apartment has been smelling like an scented candle truck veered off the road into a cannibus forest and erupted into flames. Not cool, and I shall soon have a word with the roommates. I seem to have a headache right now, but I think it caffeine related. Since the headache is self-induced, I have no right to complain about it)
