Hey all...
Contrary to what you may have thought, I am still alive and in good health. I lost internet service to the apartment early in the semester and have been very busy with school and Wildlife Society stuff.
For those of you whom I havent spoken to recently, I landed a job working in Yellowstone National Park for most of the summer. I will be survey amphibians and their breeding habitats. I am leaving Sunday, June 4th and driving out with my mother. It will take about 3 days to drive there and she will be staying for a few more before flying back home.
I will try to post my mailing information before I leave.
For the past few days I have been censusing ginseng populations with the Kerry and getting some quality time in before about 9 weeks of separation. Its going to be rough. But hopefully it will be the experience of a lifetime and justify the distance.
Ive seen lots of very cool critters this semester, including a green salamander, four-toed salamander, northern red-bellied snake, a bunch of scarlet tanagers, smooth greensnake, and a goshawk nest.
I will be home from this saturday afternoon until the fourth.
Talk atchall later...
