I did ask in the ask-a-mod section but I didn't get a reply.
I'm making a web-series which is essentially Skins on a teeny budget. It has seven main characters and is ten thirty minute episodes which are each character centric.
I'm only posting this now so I can ask what people would like to see, I have character outlines and a vague story but I'd

alison: a deeply disturbed girl who grew up in a severely abusive family driven by religiosity, as her father physically beat her mother and rarely her, and her mother emotionally did so. since the age of ten, she's devoted herself to making her brother's life easier by stealing things for him that their parents would disagree with, taking blame for anything he does, etc. at age 16, she planted a camera in the kitchen to film her father beating her mother and had her brother put bruises on her and vice versa and then went to the cops. she is incredibly manipulative and has no real concept of social interaction, she is also bisexual.
holly, born into privilege and forced at a young age to be a pageant/pretty in pink type girl. she's been taught from an early age that normativity is key to life but growing up she progressively started to detest the people around, the activities she does, but is crippled by an internal struggle to stay comfortable in misery or to break out. her big interest is electronic music and she is quite talented but no one supports her with her mother most importantly claiming it's taking up cheerleading time.
j.d., he's not much different from your alexa except he's been seperated from his mother and lives with his aunt and uncle. he also smokes weed so he's not a completely 'just say no' person. he's dealt his rejection by his parents by being accepting from everyone and is incredibly popular for being the nicest guy in school. was seperated by his brother when he was taken by the state as his aunt and uncle could only afford one child, and chose j.d.
jackie, she is a completely normal teenage with no instability in her life. in my first season her big deal is finding first love. she enjoys bringing people together as a cure for her being an only child. she is sports geek and a bit of tomboy in interests but in fashion which simply plain femme.
sebastian. he is basically matty except an only child and also gets attention to his story and people care about him. he is in band with the next character.
madelyn, she is a over-achiever in the jal model but without the maturity. she is an incredibly brash, direct person that fits with her punk mentality in the band with sebastian. underneath the incredibly cold facade, she is actually quite desperate for attention and help people which feeds into her over-achieving. both her parents deeply underwater with their mortgage work constantly so she is totally isolated despite her parent's presense being so close.
dylan is the son of a union family that have embedded a great sense of political advocacy within him. he is an incredibly dedicated person who makes good on his promises and is a good student. is completely straight edge. generally totally one trackminded and before the season is uninterested in making new friends, just continuing his schoolwork and advocacy. he is friends with madelyn and sebastian. has a little sister.
yassin is a first generation immigrant along with his mother, who have fleed from palestine. they moved six years ago. he, with his mom, lives with his aunt and uncle who also first generation immigrants but moved twenty some years ago. his mom is unable to find a sustainable job while his aunt and uncle have jobs as a lawyer and doctor respectively. he incredibly talented at football (the actual kind, not the NFL kind) and has gained a sort of local fame for it in addition to scouting for his immense ability. he is a transsexual who has been struggling with his gender identity for a long time and it drives his behaviors. has two cousins that are university age.

Thanks, I like Alexa cause we haven't had many teetotal characters in Skins.
