Title: The Missing Moments of Rich and Grace Part 1/?
Author: phangirling
Pairing/Characters: Rich/Grace, Alo, some Nick and Mini
Rating: PG-13 for language
Summary: This is just a fic series I decided to work on about the missing moments of Rich and Grace from Episode 5X04 onward because there aren't enough Rich/Grace things out there in my opinion :3 These probably aren't going to be in order and there will/can be more than one per episode so if you think I should do more, you should totally tell me so. Critiques/reviews/whatever are all welcome!

Liv's door slams shut behind them and there's a moment of heavy and awkward silence. They all just stare at one another, no one daring to say a word. Nick and Mini are getting the rest of the way dressed, Alo is fishing around in his pockets for his keys and possibly a stray spliff, Grace is making faces as she puts on her shoes, and Rich is watching with a mixture of curiosity and disdain as the short stranger darts down the street without a second to spare.

Nick is the first one to break the silence, securing his belt and smacking his lips together in a sigh. "Fuckin' out of here." he mutters, slinging his windbreaker over his shoulder and ignoring Mini's obvious scoff and scathing glare following him to his car.

"He was my ride!" she growls to no one in particular, making a show of strapping on her too-high heels and pouting at the retreating convertible. The hood is up as are the windows and the tires squeals audibly as it rips around the corner. Grace frowns first at the vehicle, then at Mini. She folds her arms across her chest, lost and expectant.

"What just happened?" she inquires. Her eyes move from Mini to Rich to Alo, who's still rummaging around in his pockets.

"Basically," Rich answers with a sigh, "Our new friends are all huge slags."

"Richard!" Grace slaps him on the arm, but Mini surprisingly isn't offended. Instead her lips curve into a frown and she loosely hugs herself. She looks small, morose.

"He's not wrong, Gracie." And that's all she says. She inhales sharply, pulling at the hem of her skirt and tossing golden locks off her shoulder as pushes past Rich and Alo and continues down the narrow sidewalk across the street. She walks briskly but effectively in her heels and just like that she's out of sight, gone. Grace is frowning at the sidewalk still and Rich is rubbing his arm where she smacked him when Alo suddenly cries out.

"Aha!" In his hand is a familiar copper key. "I knew I didn't lose it last night!"

Rich turned to him and pursed his lips. "Brilliant! Too bad we've got no fucking clue where your van is!" The sarcasm is as apparent as the disappointment on Alo's face a moment later.

"Oh yeah." Rich sighs.

"It can't have gotten too far if that's the only key." Grace says. "Maybe if we retrace our steps from last night we'll find it."

Alo seems to mull over the suggestion for a moment before his face lights up again. "Grace, you're a genius!"

She just grins.

"Okay, well then let's get walking before Liv kicks us off her front porch as well." Rich says just before he yawns. "Where was that party again?" Rich can't remember and the look on Alo's face basically says that he's in the same boat and they're pretty sure they're fucked until Grace speaks up.

"Mill Creek Road." She answers easily. "It was at that rugby player's house. By the Tesco and a few streets over from Mini's."

"So how far a walk is that from here?"

Grace frowns at the inquiry and looks down at her little blue heels."Not short enough for me to be able to bear the walk in these." And just like that she's slipping them off again. "They pinch my feet too much."

"Then why'd you wear them?" Rich mutters the question as they all scoot off of Liv's porch, walking single file until they get onto the sidewalk and Rich and Alo are on either side of Grace. She frowns at Rich, then at her shoes.

"They matched my outfit." she answers easily afterward. Rich shakes his head but the amusement is clear on his face and Grace laughs, thankful that she managed to put a smile on his face no matter how small it was. He slings an arm around her shoulders a moment later and Alo grins slyly at the interaction as he lights up the joint he found in his jacket pocket. Neither Rich nor Grace notice it, but it doesn't matter. They will eventually.
