Skins in real life
I was thinking about this while I was watching Skins USA yesterday and it got me thinking; do the way the actors etc come across in the media affect the way you see/feel about their characters (and vice-versa)? Or are you able to completely seperate the two?
Not gonna lie, seeing Nick Hoult on Never Mind the Buzzcocks made me like Tony a shit tonne more when I re-watched it, and seeing/reading about Jack o Connell talking in interviews made me appreciate Cook when I otherwise disliked him.
(possibly a stupid question, but I always wandered...Tom Cruise will never be anything other than Tom Cruise Playing Dad/Vampire/etc to me so it's the same sort of idea)
