I'm bored and thought this would be an interesting discussion. There are characters in Skins who are supposed to work together, but don't because of lack of chemistry (Michelle/Tony, Michelle/Sid), characters who do work (Cook/Effy, Cook/Freddie, Cook/Naomi, Cook/everything in the world), and episodes that are infinitely improved because of just one scene (Tea/Tony dancing).
What scenes really get to you because of the actors natural chemistry together, or lack thereof? & who do you wish could've had more screen time together and/or development? What about with the two new generations that we have right now - anything you could potentially look forward to?
For me, the stand out scenes in any Skins episodes were the ones that had Cook in them, because he sparked off of everything. I don't think I've ever seen a young actor as gifted as Jack O Connell, and watching him was a complete joy, particularly when he was paired with Kaya, Luke and Lily. I can't even pick particular scenes of theirs because the post would end up being far too long and I adore them all, pretty much.
I also have to say that while I don't think Skins USA is off to a particularly strong start, the one thing that gave me hope was the Tea/Tony scenes in Tea's episodes. In particular when they started dancing together and she kissed him; I don't think either of them are strong actors in the slightest as of yet, but that scene really gave me chills - it was awesome to watch.
