Pandora/Anwar/Maxxie/JJ appreciation post / picspam / TEAM USELESS ROLL CALL!!!
This is an appreciation post for anybody and everybody who loves Pandora, Anwar, Maxxie, and/or JJ! Post your favourite pictures of them and the reasons you love them--we can ~*compare notes.
Pandora
Why I love her:
- she's so adorable that you have to call her "Panda", because that's the only animal that can even compare on the cuteness spectrum
- she was Effy's friend way before all the Gen 2 drama even started
- she's secretly a genius; Harvard University is KIND OF A BIG DEAL
- her family's genuinely batshit insane, but she has come out of it with grace and style
- people write her off as useless
Anwar
Why I love him:
- his relationship with Maxxie is my favourite bestfriendship on Skins
- he's basically a nudist, if you consider all the time he spends with his clothes off
- he and his father have a complex, poignant, and realistic relationship that's sensitively portrayed (unlike almost every other parent-child relationship on this show)
- this:
- people write him off as useless
Maxxie
Why I love him:
- he and Anwar are terrible at being friends, yet they are still the best best friends ever
- his father is Bill Bailey and, like Anwar and his dad, they have a very complex and realistic relationship but you can still tell they love and respect each other
- he dances like no motherfucker can
- when he doesn't know what to do, he defaults to giving Tony a blowjob
- people write him off as useless
JJ
Why I love him:
- he was the glue that kept Cook and Freddie together; without him, they'd be nothing
- HE WON THE GRANNY-CARRYING RACE AGAINST EVERYBODY WHO THOUGHT THEY WERE BETTER THAN HIM
- he can serenade you with a ukelele
- he is clinically and medically fucked in the head, but he's still the voice of reason for the group
- people write him off as useless
This post also functions as a ROLL CALL for all my Team Useless cohorts!!! We should get together, get to know each other, and figure out how to beat all the other teams even though we have the smallest number! (It also function as a not-so-subtle recruitment attempt to get more people on our team. Look at how cool we are--we have pictures and awesome charactures and solidarity and everything. Joooooiiin usssss.)
Team Useless: we're no good for anything but we know how to have fun!
