2nd Semester
Well so much for the film minor. I made this decision in the span of about 12 hours. My Media Technology and Cultural Change class was absolutely retarted. The teacher is a grad student. She's younger than Jason. On top of that, she's an idiot who has no control over the class. So I decided to drop the class and, in the process, decided that there really is no reason to minor in film. I'm only taking the classes because I'm interested. Even though I'm only 2 classes away, there's no point in taking classes I'm not interested in just to minor in something that I am not going to pursue after college. So I dropped the film minor, but I needed to find a class in the history department, which is easier said than done. I eventually (after a lot of stress) got into Modern Latin America because of persistance and a good word from my roommate. This works out really well, since this is one of the classes that I was planning on taking anyway. But now I have to catch up with all the reading. Even though there is an unusually small amount of reading in the class, it has added up after 2 weeks. So I'm off to do work....
