1) scarecity- they might stop making that- never know when I'll need that- I was going to use that for a project, not enough to go around, don't know what the future hoilds- don't want to hear "I told you so."
2)shelf life- it's not used up yet! hey, I paid good money for that!
3) sentimental attachments-it'll erase the past, it will nullify the memory. It reminds me of the good times
4)guilt- I told so-and--so when they died I would keep it int he family, it's an heirloom, I don't need it, no place for it, but it's been in the family forever-
5) guilt- this stuff needs me; This old laptop and I have been through a lot- no one else would take as good care of it as I do-
6)emptiness- if I get too clear, there will be nothing left of me-I can;t weather the grief, it'll be too much loss
7)avoidance- I don't want to have those feelings-denial, I'll eat instead!
8)victimization- poor me; parental neglect, loss of job or relationship, stuck in a rut of self-pity
9)sense of belonging- this makes me feel like I fit in:'
10) collective unconsciensness-if everyone is doing/ having it,, it must be ok:
