(no subject)
On Sunday I was invited to a work friends renewal of wedding vows, I wasn’t too bothered about going but I wanted to try and erase my bad memories of going into a church when it was for Glenns funeral... it didn’t work, it just brought back lots of bad memories :( I suppose I just need more time.
On the plus side it meant i discovered a little gem of a church... It’s funny how sometimes you live close to something but you never knew it existed... Well that’s not strictly true... I remember the church yard from when I was a teenager because me and a few mates used to take shortcuts through it, but that was late at night in the pitch black so I never really took note of the church! And as a 13/14 year old boy it’s not something you look at ;) This church is just 7 or 8 minutes drive from me but it’s not visible from the road so that will be why I never really remembered it until I recognised the church yard! Plus it’s in a place I don’t generally have a need to drive through.
Luckily I was early and I had my camera in the boot of the car & it was a nice sunny afternoon so I managed to get some photos before the wedding vow renewals started :) I want to nip back at some point with the sun in a different position because I spotted a good photo opportunity but the sun was in the wrong place!
