SLOOOAAAN!
It's been a while since I've posted on here, so here goes nothing:
I've been sick for the past week or so. In that time I went to very few classes and fell even more behind on my readings. I also missed good stuff like seeing, Beth, Deniz, Cheryl, Jr, and others. I'm very sorry I missed Deniz's birthday shindig on Friday. Damn shame. I did manage to go see a movie though. Smokin' Aces is a bad movie. Do not go see.
That pretty much sums up my last week.
Today was better.
I awoke feeling less sick that I had in the past week. I also got to see Cheryl, which is always a good start to a day.
Later on, Adam, Kevin and I went to see Pan's Labyrinth. It's Spanish with subtitles and it is freaking amazing. One of the best movies I have seen in a long while. It's an actual proper fairy tale, complete with very violent and scary scenes. It also has good acting and very realistic effects. It's like Narnia for adults, sorta.
After the movie we went to Hooters for some food and to watch some of the Leaf game.
We then headed over to Nathan Phillips Square for a free Sloan concert. Sloan was really good. Good stage presence and great music.
