The New Years Post
We I haven't made an entry for a while, so here goes:
Christmas was pretty good. There was a serious lack of Christmas mood for most of it, but that worked itself out eventually. The HHC party was great fun. I'm really glad Cheryl and Deniz finally got to meet everyone and (hopefully) weren't hated. For Christmas I totally cashed in on the gifts. I got a scanner (woo hoo), lots of cds (*listens*), lots of socks (sweet!), tickets to a Leafs game (more to come on that), and a certain special someone. Overall pretty much my best Christmas yet for gifts.
One crappy part of these holidays has been that I have worked pretty much every single day that I didn't request off. Usually at Christmas I say I'm available almost every day and they schedule me like 4 days a week. Not this year. This year it was every day. This, in combination with Cheryl, Civilization III, and general stupidity, led to a severe lack of sleep.
New Years was pretty good. I got a little more drunk that I would have liked, but I enjoyed the parts I was coherent.
Yesterday Adam and I went to the Leafs game. This was a gift from my Mom that she won at an auction. Platinum seats baby! We were 4 rows back from the glass. The players looked so... real! Great experience. Oh, and to top it off, the Leafs won.
I'm not really in the mood to think about this past year or the year to come. Maybe I'll do that on a later entry. For now, hello 2007!
