Rest in Peace, Molly Hutchings (July 1st, 1995 - December 21st, 2006)

Hmm. Just put down my dog of 11 years...very odd. It was a very peaceful procedure, though. The Doctor, who has been her docter since she was a little puppy, was very sweet and he even shed a little tear. That must be such a difficult job. Sheesh. Well, Molly was a good girl. I loved her and our family and friends will never forget her. I always called her my sleepy girl or sleepy puppy, and since that is exactly what Dr. Jim did (put her asleep) I think it is an appropriate way to go.

On a more uplifitng note. I leave for Chicago in about an hour. Hah. My mom, best friend Lauren and her mom and I always do something on our birthdays, like dinner and a movie. But since this is the big 2-1, we decided to do it up well. We have reservations at a Hyatt in downtown Chicago and we're just gonna enjoy bein legal in a big city! haha, it should be a good time. I feel badly about celebrating on the day of my doggy's death. But I think of it as celebrating her life. Many cheers to Molly.

Speaking of Chicago, I should probably finish packing and what not. I will update about the trip when I get back! Sheesh, I am certainly getting back into the livejournal mood. Two days in a row I have updated this thing....what's going on??
